4:49p. Flew in just as I was finishing my notes on the Parula.

4:42pm. Flew down to a low perch; I saw the crescent white eye rings, the yellow-green back, and yellow chin and throat. I also could see a thin white wing bar. I lost it behind the reeds, but reappeared about 20’ perched in a bare branch above the reeds. It preened for a couple minutes, then flew to the top of the 40’ aspen (?) where I lost track of it.
