At Oak Openings Preserve Lodge, we were all looking up and saw a lot of Goldfinch flying over and in trees but then saw and heard 2 Red Crossbills flying over too. Could hear them calling doing jip jip sound. Continuing birds in area.

Had just gotten out of van in parking lot of Oak Openings Preserve by Lodge...looked up into trees and saw a bird about midway up...was working his way up and up. Kept an eye on it and Nate got on it too. Large gray and yellow warbler with broken eye ring. Grayish head, back, wings, tail. Dark lores, yellow throat and breast and belly with streaking on sides under wings. white wingbars.
