American White Pelican

When I arrived there were several groups of about 30 birds each. I noticed a huge flock circling over the north end of the marshes. Groups broke off and gradually landed. When I got to the north end of the lake I observed a few long area of of birds like the one in the wide angle photo. Conservative estimate.
