Townsend's Solitaire

Toward the end of the boardwalk that is on the spit past the airport. Medium gray bird. Slightly smaller than a robin. White eye ring. Right after I saw this I saw a birder from the Shorebird festival coming down the boardwalk. I described to him what I just saw and he said it sounds like a Townsend solitaire. I looked it up and the description and pictures matches exactly what I saw. Lifer! I think we also heard it vocalizing while we stood there.
