Small wren, brown/darkish above, light underneath. Popped from the edge of the trail (~100 metres south of the first bench, South Point Trail) and into the wet grassy/shrubby area, crawling around like a mouse. Not the greatest look, but the brief look in combination with the behaviour and habitat convinced me.
