probable: looked like ash-throated but was bigger, was not slim, had a bigger crest/bill, and was in a tree in a riparian area; did not sound like ash-throated and did not respond as we familiarized ourselves with ash-throated's song/calls; as we familiarized ourselves with brown-crested flycatcher's song/calls, it immediately perked up and flew closer.
