Small dove in small mesquite tree at San Pedro House near feeders with white-crown sparrows and 2 pyrrhuloxia. Female. Smaller than Inca dove, shorter tail and no scaling on breast or head. Black spots/lines on wings. Distinguished from common ground dove by dark gray bill, plain unmarked breast and nape. Dark eye encircled with thin white. Whitish on forehead just above bill. Stayed in tree for a long time allowing good views.
