Tally of northbound flyovers. Actual numbers likely higher because there were times when I wasn't watching the sky.

Ammospiza sp.

Likely Le Conte’s. Flushed out of meadow area near golf course. It landed briefly on the fence before diving back down. My binocular view of it lasted for less than a second, so I didn't pick up any key field marks to confirm an ID. It was clearly a sparrow with a mostly orange face, and the tone seemed consistent with Le Conte's.
