Many on the open lake, many more seen on the ponds from the marsh tower. Scaups with peaks near back of head, narrower heads, narrow nail on bill.

Adult male type sitting out in the marsh at the edge of West Cranberry Pond; cool! Large nearly all white owl. The Scaup in this part of the marsh were in a tighter raft today... I do not wonder why!

Very rough estimate based on an accurate count of over 100 Phoebes yesterday and seeing significantly fewer today. Medium sized flycatcher, plain grey on top, white with yellow wash below, no eye ring and blackish head.
