Seen through the scope on a distant fence post. Relatively small head and beak and short tail distinguished it from Common Raven. Later saw a group of 4 in a different location, one of which flew and was clearly an American Crow. The other 3 seemed likely to be as well, but I didn’t count them because they were too distant to be seen well.
