2M 1F in large mixed flock on Lake Erie, about 100m out at south end of Pte Moo. Robust ducks about the same size as heavy scaup, dark overall. Makes with bright white patches on fore and rear crown, bright orange bill (from distance could not make out complex bill pattern. Female accompanying; dark brown overall with vaguely lighter patches on face.
