Male -Medium sized woodpecker. White upperwing coverts, white stripe from bill to belly. Yellowish tones in breast and neck area. Red throat and crown. White barring on back.

small falcon- heavily barred below, weak moustacial stripe; dark, weakly banded tail. Pale undertail coverts and white throat. Calling constantly twitwitwittwittwit. Much darker with shorter wings tham AMKE which were also in the area.
