stationary standing over ground hole - seen between 6:30 and 7:30 pm on Calhoun Road west of Beaver Marsh Road. Credit goes to Sharon Burke who found the Snowy Owl approximately 5pm. Snowy Owl was quite soiled with dirt. May be due to this farm land/mud/rains or en route north and traveling. Outside of stretching, this species was stationary entire time though the OP told me personally it was found closer to the road upon initial discovery. These shots were about 30-35 yards from roadside.
