The two Fish Crows were calling back and forth across the pond. I identified them by their nasal ah-ah call that was repeated many times between the two. One of the birds had the slender, smaller beck. I did not see the other bird.

The small sparrow had the green coloring on the head, faint strips along the top of the breast, the rest of the breast was white, the back had strips and the tail looked like it was forked. The bird flew from a wet shrubby field, paused for 10 seconds, then dove down into the bushy blue stem. It's flight path was very short.

The birds had yellow eyes. And a shiny black feathers. Both were male.
