X
Ring-billed Gull

Hundreds. Everywhere I went.

X
Herring Gull

Definitely saw them in area 10 (where I presume "gull beach") is. Unsure about other locations as not good at picking them out in flight yet.

2
Lesser Black-backed Gull

Scoped from Area 11 while viewing beach on Area 10 amidst hundreds of Ring-billed and Herring gulls. Noticeably darker backs than all the others. Yellow legs. Continuing. Have been spotted repeatedly by others.

20
Double-crested Cormorant

primarily in area 12

8
American White Pelican

Saw four in Area 10/11 and four on the lake near Lieber's Point. Believe I scoped a large group of others on the NE corner of the lake but too far to make an accurate count.

9
Bald Eagle

Seen in burned field, Area 10/11, Area 12 and flying over lake from dam.

2
Red-tailed Hawk

two dark morphs seen from road that borders south side of rec area.

2

spotted two on bridge that travels between areas 10 and 11

Red-winged Blackbird

Everywhere, but large group of 200+ in burned field east of dam

9
Rusty Blackbird

Seen and heard. Counted by ones as they flew out of brush. Likely as many as 20 but nine is the best count I had of the first group that flew from brush.
