1
Snow Goose

In the company of CANG. Dirty white goose with black primaries, prominent bill with grin patch and concave mandibular base.

6
Ross's Goose

Was able to observe all six chen sp to determine them to be ROGO via Swarovski HD 80 between 20X & 60X. Four flew in behind vegetation and two additional were feeding in corn stubble. Noticeably smaller than nearby CANG. Pure white, overall with black primary tips. Rounded head on thick, short neck. Stubby triangular shaped pinkish red bill with no grin patch. Perpendicular mandibular base. The other four flew from behind the vegetation and I was able to scope them in flight for several minutes and could see their small stubby bills, also with perpendicular mandibular base and no grin patch. They eventually flew down with the other two ROGO where I could observe the same field marks as the original two that I studied.
