Mew Gull

Smaller than RBGU's, with darker mantle. Adult winter plumage. Brown wash over head typical of winter plumage. Much smaller and thinner bill than RBGU's, all yellow. Dark eyes and note that they are larger than nearby RBGU's. Thinner legs and smaller feet than RBGU. Legs more of a greenish-yellow. Outer primaries with more white than RBGU and less black overall in primaries. Observed at original rock where Noah located the bird across from gull beach. Observed for about 1 minute before it flew. At dusk, briefly relocated out on the water in the scope but distant and very poor lighting.
