    Comments: Seen: 1 on Thompson's Island Brown mantle. Head and neck black. Bill orange/red. White belly. White rump/back.

    Comments: Seen: 1 male (singing) in the same location as last week.

    Comments: Seen: 1 probable female in bad light. Yellowish throat and upper breast. Flanks streaked. Darker ear coverts. Yellowish eyebrow. Dark crown. First thought it was a Cape May Warbler, but couldn't see colors clearly enough to make a confident ID. Concluded it was a female Blackburnian based on location (BB's breed, Cape May's don't) and the fact that the bird was high in the canopy.
