Swamp Sparrow

This was in the small reedy pond over by the club house on the north side of the park. Notes taken on the day of in the field (as seen below):

Melospiza sparrow

Crown: Chocolate-rich dark brown.
Pale lores
Dark gray bill. Slenderish.
Clearish breast. Some spot(ting/streaking)
round, heavy looking. In grass near reeds. Never flew. Unhealthy?
Gray nape wrapping up from throat.
Tail stiff. Upright.
No wing bar.

My memory of this bird is that it was moving around in the tall grass at the edge of the lawn where it met the reeds. We watched it for a minute or so before it moved into the reeds and we were unable to refind it.
