Continuing--this species has been seen throughout the winter at the refuge. Unmistakable bird--smaller than herons, all black (at least in this lighting) with downward curved beak. Flying like an Ibis. I am familiar with this species and have taken pictures of the wintering birds at the refuge on past trips.
