Wind NE, moderate with occasion gusts 15+ mph, clear and sunny, with temperatures rising to 13C/56F. 25 minute sea watch from Rodeo Beach followed a circuit of the main lagoon. Mammals of note: 3 River Otters in the main lagoon and offshore, 1 Harbor Seal and 5+ California Sea Lions (on the green buoy).

Two flew N low offshore, briefly landing on the ocean before continuing their journey northward

In a single flock flying S offshore at height at 7:20am.

In a single tight flock flew in off the ocean at 7:25am and landed at the western end of the main lagoon. Presumably spring migrants pushed to the coast given the gusting NE winds. A notable record for a species that is less than annual at this location.
