Somewhat windy at times. Scattered, high cirrus clouds with weak sun.

    Comments: Counted by tens. Large flocks in the fields N of Deal Ln. Shortly before we started the count, we saw probably most or all in the air over these fields; at the beginning of the count, 230 flew over us and apparently landed on the Missouri River nearby. Two groups remained in the stubble fields, one with 800 (and a white goose at the edge) and a more distant group of 300.

    Comments: Graylag Goose (Domestic type) x Canada Goose (hybrid) associated with large flock of Canada Geese. Large goose, gray and white, pink legs, seen recently by other observers vicinity of Lewis & Clark County fairgrounds. Photo taken at long distance.
