Young bird. Bird flew in at 8:50 AM and to within 20 yards of us as we stood at the end of the Gulf Pier. Bill proportions look right. Pointed central tail feathers and the bases to the primary underwing coverts are barred. See photos by R. Harrod and J. Gibbons.

And "If you look closely you can see the small white blaze on the forehead at the base of the bill. That is diagnostic for Parasitic" (this from M.Brothers, a great tip to remember if you're able to obtain a close enough, and sharp enough, image. - R.Smith).
