Comments: **very rare; also slightly later than most recent records; first detected while driving, as a flying bird towering up in an unfamiliar manner; first impression was Western Kingbird (long, pointed wings and black tail), but but closer inspection also revealed rich, salmon-colored underparts and smaller size than WEKI. Unmistakable when viewed with binoculars, perching on a small juniper. Attempts at photography were not very successful, but show key features of SAPH.
