Went east along wash from Wentworth for 1/5 mile and then came back west along wash to a mile west of Wentworth where Freeman Rd intersects, birded several different sections of wash, only a bit of intermittent flow below Wentworth as wash continues to dry up, mostly clear with calm to very light winds

Observations

  2. Number observed: 60

Comments: Conservative count/estimate, two big flocks headed east just south of wash just as the sun came over the mountains, several small flocks, pairs, and singles later. An interesting early morning movement of this species that seems regular - be nice to know what they feed on.
