Starting at the SFD Junction to south beach. Kept a rough tally of birds along road all the way to lighthouse. Then back tracked to Fish Docks, Nunes ranch and pastures above Nunes, Mendoza, Spaletta, Drakes beach and monument and finally Drake's corner. Mostly clear about 10% cloud cover at times. light North/northwest winds.

Hy male, associated with lighthouse Sparrow flock, passerina Bunting (about pine Siskin sized) thick Bunting bill, deep blue tail and rump, grayish brown upper back, furtive and only offered a few brief looks before disappearing. I did hear it give several verses of song interspersed with singing zonotrichia and fox Sparrows it was associating with (odd for fall?)
