Duration:
2 hour(s), 50 minute(s)
Distance:
2.5 mile(s)
Observers:
William Legge
Comments:
Wind ENE, gusty to 20+mph, clear and sunny with the hazy smoke being pushed offshore. Temperatures rising to 20C/68F. Circuit of the main lagoon. Mammals of note: 3 River Otters in the main lagoon. Classic fall visual migration conditions with a moderately strong offshore wind pushing birds to the coast/outer Marin Headlands! 'Vis-mig' movements largely dried up by 9:30am. Too windy to see much in the willows and many grounded passerines keeping out of the wind and out of sight!
