The bird was in a willow over the stream about 150 yards upstream (west) of the big open clearing (bird bath) area. Pale lores, buffy supercilium, well-defined auricular patch, lower border of auricular stronger than upper border, pale area that wraps under eye, and buffy breast sides are all key for CCSP and rule out Chipping.
