Notes by Marcel Such. Large, dark swift associating with flock of swallows. In direct size comparison with nearby swallows, nearly twice the size. Sturdy body, broad wings. Seen in many different lights/angles, no white or light seen anywhere on bird. Flight slower, deeper, “stronger” than Vaux’s/Chimney. Photos taken by Jodhan Fine. Longish tail. No obvious fork observed.
