Gleaning in leafy deciduous trees keeping company with a Warbling Vireo. Larger and more attenuated shape from beak to tail than WAVI just inches away. Bold face pattern. Gray crown with a fine line of black over the bold pale supercilium. Dark eyeline from lores through dark eye and aft of eye. Couldn't see eye color. Underparts whitish, faintly tinged with yellow, brighter yellow on undertail coverts. Upperparts dull greenish. Approached me through leafy canopy overhead, attracted to pishing without my knowing it was there previously along the nature trail just northeast of the north pond, and seen again later across the road and east of Willow Creek CG campsite #9 in a large clump of trees, still with a WAVI.
