  10. peep sp.

    Number observed: 9

Comments: Continuing migration southward. At 8:02pm, nine peeps flew out of the large pool on Audubon Road, right in front of my viewing area, calling out, and headed south. Sounded like Least. Flew out in near darkness, about 25 minutes after sunset - could be continuing migration.

  15. Number observed: 1

Comments: Likely the same heron that flies from KRGC area to Everly Apts marsh every night, just after sunset. Possibly bred there this year, but I didn't attempt to find their nesting area. Definitely roosting there - returns to this area every night for the past few weeks.

  18. Number observed: 3000

Comments: One massive group filled the sky over the center area of the Lynnfield Marsh, above tree canopy level. Just past sunset. Quite a sight.

  27. blackbird sp.

    Number observed: 14
  28. Number observed: 1
  29. passerine sp.

    Number observed: 1

Comments: Just before total dark, on the other side of the large pool at Audubon Road, what may have been an immature BC Night Heron flew a short distance and then upward into a tree. Overall dull brown color. I suspect it was BCNH, but the GH Owls have also been in this area recently, so it could have been an owl.
