Careful count as I walked back from the mudflat. I counted 296 on the power lines and was getting close to counting the many PUMA that were roosting in the dead cottonwood in the tower parking lot (counted 168 in that tree last week) when they exploded out of the tree and flew north. Very conservative estimate of 100 additional PUMA as they flew north.
