The bird was first heard calling from a large strangler fig about 200' southwest of the park's "Birding Trail", about 450' from the trail's southern end. It was then seen to fly northeast across an open, brushy area to a clump of trees along side the trail. The bird was seen from less than 100' away and flew in full sunlight, allowing good looks of the classic beak and long tail. It called a few more times from the trees, before I had to resume work and could no longer observe it.
