One male, one female, three chicks

Two willets (large shorebirds showing lots of black and white wing pattern color) were seen on a close fly-by, then landing on the beach shoreline nearby. The birds were seen by two experienced birders.

One adult and one immature kestrel were observed by numerous experienced birders as they worked the southern perimeter of the psychological fenced area for the piping plovers. They perched on signposts and driftwood.
