Comments:
Sunny, cold. For part of walk we had another pair of eyes (Sean). We also met Jayden Walsh who kindly mentioned Varied Sitellas further along. But when we reached the spot we didn't clearly see any (one only possible) and we were distracted by several Thornbills. Interestingly, we heard a mystery bird in the same spot (briefly) last visit and subsequent listening to calls on internet suggests possible Sitellas. But not enough certainty to add to our list. A quest for another time. That Christmas Bush grove has potential.

For the first time we saw one well into the bush - at big rock platform - rather than near track entrance on Chiltern Rd.

Only second time we have seen one since first about a year ago. Amazingly in exactly same spot on track. Just on the way back up the hill from the rock platform. Dip in track collects water. Possibly drinking before disturbed. Slowly walked away and into scrub.
