    Comments: Loafing in marsh with WILLs and AMOY. Eventually flew 100 yards south (closer to the inlet), where it began feeding in a wide shallow channel. Unmistakably slender black and white shorebird with needle-like black bill and exceptionally long pink legs.

    Comments: Amid the mixed tern flock at the north end of the flats during low and rising tides. Slightly smaller overall than COTE, with "daintier" GISS (smaller bill, shorter legs, steeper forehead and more rounded crown). Primaries paler than COTE. Both 1st Summer/AHY, one with a more extensively white forehead. Photos obtained of only of that bird.
