Comments:
Most of the shorebirds were summering except for the ones in breeding plumage that are probably southbound migrants. Mid-June is about when they show up every year, give or take a week. The Willits and Greater Yellowlegs were in breeding plumage. By the end of June Willits, Godwits, Curlews, Gr. Yellowlegs, S.B. Dowitchers, W. Sandpipers, and usually L. Sandpipers normally are seen at the shoreline.
