while this may still be a continuing bird, was surprised to see it with the slim odds that 1 out of 9 cormorants present in the bay would be a NECO; saw suspiciously long tail then scoped and saw V-shaped gular edge with narrow white border, dark lores, noticeably smaller than neighbors when stretched out, all black adult plumage
