Did the entire loop. Uber birdy everywhere. Didn't have time or light to work it good. Many hundreds of shorebirds way out on flats. Marshes were covered in marsh wrens. We did quite well for starting so late! Duck numbers are mostly estimates and we didn't try to scope the one distant island with pelicans on it. Water is higher than I've seen it and most islands are small.

    Comments: All in full breeding plumage. Big peep, face, head and upper breast bright rusty brown. Just spectacular plumage.

    Comments: Distant at sunset. Estimate. Many may have been phals.

    Comments: Ridiculous numbers in every cattail marsh. Estimate but I gave up after counting 60 and we had a couple dozen more. Crazy
