*Long-awaited first site record! I initially found it along Warbler Alley around 3 PM flycatching from a dead snag. It also vocalized several times. (I rushed home to alert others (pre cell-phone days) and Stiles Thomas made it there in time to see it. I also showed the bird to a mother and son who had never even seen an Eastern Kingbird! Unfortunately the bird vanished around 3:45 and I don't believe anyone else saw it.
