Comments:
dreary start regarding weather with 44F. and light rain. Rain ended after about 20 minutes. Good numbers of passerine migrants for this time of year I thought for this locale. By far the best area was at the edge of the campground on the Bay side.

a bit puzzling to me as assuming this is a third winter bird I would have thought the legs would be obviously yellow by now. Size too small for Great Black-backed Gull when compared to adjacent Herring Gulls.

male seen in the rain as part of a large group of passerine migrants at the south end of the campground. Unique plumage with black stripes on a yellow background below and a chestnut face pattern and a white panel for wing bars.
