Began across from Duck Is, caught up with Ryan and Angie by LP249 > Ravine and Rick's Place, where joined by Karen; > Vale & trail south of Rose Garden, where joined by Rob Jett and friend; > steaming pile (quiet) > Midwood > Rick's Place > Boulder Bridge > Pools & Falkill Falls > Lookout Hill. After I said bye to Ryan and Karen I went to bathroom at Lefrak Center, then chased the Blue Grosbeak. Day began very overcast but the sun finally came out.

Lesser Yellowlegs

Flybys calling, giving two-note call, west end of lake. Short bills. They appeared to land on the shore by the Lefrak Center, went to investigate but could not re-find them. Uncommon for the park.

Male in the fenced-in, bright green grassy area just south of the Tennis House: large and blue w/ rusty wing patches, large whitish bill, white undertail coverts. Great looks. Not sure who found it initially, but got Rob Jett's tweet on my way out of the park.
