    Comments: A couple flocks extremely far out on the lake to the south.

    Comments: One bird seemed good for MODU.

    Comments: These were too far way or too fast to say for sure if they were pure Mottled.

    Comments: Many of these winter in the area. Only a few around among the coots today.

    Comments: One was seen on a very distant sand bar with many terns, skimmers, and cormorants. Observed from the end of the boardwalk looking west.

    Comments: Roughly exact count of distant birds sitting on a mud flat well over a mile away. Lighting allowed for decent counting and viewing with a powerful scope at high zoom. Mixed with skimmers, gulls, and cormorants.
