Comments:
Ed Whisler, Ken Ealy, Stan Hunter, and Chris Dunford birded Tides Wharf, Spud Point, Campbell Cove (including the Hole in the Head pond), Bodega Head (from parking lot and cliffs 0.1 mile to the south), along the Westshore Drive, rail ponds, Diekmann's deck, and Doran Beach (both sides to the breakwater at harbor entrance opposite Campbell Cove). Mostly overcast, moderate to fresh wind from NW, temp in high 50s to low 60s F. Tide mostly very low, exposing extensive mudflats in Harbor. Also saw Mule Deer (5 on Bodega Head), California Sea Lions (5 in Harbor and in open ocean off Bodega Head), Harbor Seal (1 at Porto Bodega), and River Otter (1 in Hole in the Head pond), plus many pocket gopher excavations on Bodega Head.
