Comments:: I parked part way along South Quay and walked W to the swing bridge (2.45-3.00), returning via the swing bridge later (3.42-52). It was high tide. Approximate distance walked.

A bit of a "cheat", perhaps, these adults were just west of the swing bridge.

A bird which was almost in breeding plumage, swimming.

These may have been some of the birds which I saw in Douglas Bay shortly afterwards, as they were flying in that direction.

An adult flying by the end of Battery Pier.
