Seen and watched for several minutes as it moved among brush piles near the terminus of the "second wash" with the lake with Rob Bowker. The brief vocalization it made sounded most like Pacific Wren, when we listened to Rob's recorded call. After listening to other recorded calls at home, though, I'm no longer certain enough of the call I heard to very confidently assign it to one or the other species. Rob has a photo but it doesn't provide information to separate the two species.
