swan sp.

About 9AM, we had a swan fly over. We were in the staff driveway by the Visitors Center and it came from the direction of the river, circled twice over the Candelaria wetlands and headed southeast out of sight. Unfortunately we had a lot of cottonwoods in the way and the sun in our eyes so we couldn't say for sure what kind it was. Young birder Jack spotted it first and said there was no pink on the bill. Lefty [another young birder ;-)] thought it seemed small for a Mute. But we didn't really come to a conclusion besides "swan sp."
