Comments:
Stan Hunter and Chris Dunford started at Tides Wharf and drove to Spud Point Marina then along the west shore of the harbor carefully watching the shoreline for phalaropes, and stopped for an hour at Campbell Cove for lunch overlooking the harbor entrance. Then to the Bodega Head parking lot and walked the north trail to Horseshoe Cove Overlook and back. Then again carefully search the west shoreline of the harbor for phalaropes until we got to Porto Bodega. Then to Doran Beach for the remaining time. Partly cloudy, moderate wind, temp around 50 F. Sea lions and harbor seals, as well as Mule Deer were seen.
