I was doing a lakewatch near the Waterbird Shack when a flock of eight plegadis ibis flew in from the northeast. They flew in quite close but never landed. The birds were clearly ibis, with long legs extending beyond the short tails, long necks, and long down-curved bills. The overall dark coloration indicated that the birds were either Glossy or White-faced, but they could not be identified to species. Adam Byrne was doing the waterbird count that day, and I believe he indicated that this was a first point record.
Are you submitting a complete checklist of the birds you were able to identify?
