Following up on Ken Britten's report of Surf Scoter at Frog Pond in Cache Creek Regional Park (http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S32507756). Arrived early to do a bit of owling as well. It was a foggy morning, with the fog just beginning to lift by the time I had to leave.

Continuing female reported by Ken Britten yesterday at Frog Pond. Seen well from ~8:20-9:10 in scope despite the lingering fog. Photos are lousy due to the aforementioned fog.
